This is from Connie, and well, this is our story... that you thought you'd "probably never date me," about our wonderful friendship during college, how you had been set apart as special in my heart and mind for a long time, and then how sometime last spring i realized that i didn't want to spend my life without you and started praying for you, and then waiting. then i came to the fun part... this summer, when i realized that there might be a possibility that you would look at me through different eyes. and then a little more waiting, along with letters and emails and plane rides and road trips. and then you called my dad and we went to minnesota, where we started dating and planning when we would marry all in the same day. six weeks later we were engaged. and now i am still reveling in the reality that i am going to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, loving him and being loved by him more and more every day. my favorite part of our story is God's faithfulness. Our God hears our prayers and cares about our hearts, and He has blessed us with more than i even knew to ask for.
